Is what we see currently the finished product? How often will there be CTO updates? What you see now is by no means the end of our plans for CTO - good software is a living product that really never stops evolving.
Online software can be updated as often as is required to keep it operating smoothly and fulfilling the needs of its subscribers. All of our in-house software at OCS runs exactly the same way as CTO, and hardly a day goes by that we don't tweak this or that or add something new.
Bugs can normally be fixed within a few minutes after a problem is reported, or almost certainly within 24 hours. New features are added all the time. Over a year's time, typically the shortest update cycle for traditional software, there will likely be literally hundreds of additions and fine tuning adjustments to CTO.
But rather than facing the annual need to absorb everything that's new in a single traditional upgrade, discover what you like and what you don't, and wait to see what's fixed and what's now broken - the incremental change with a program like CTO is steady and very easy on the nerves.
In addition to our own agenda for progress, we expect to see plenty of feedback via email and the CTO Forum. Some requests will naturally be more complex than others, but we will address them all and expect that most will be subtle enough to accomplish quickly. In many cases you may logon to find that a very recent comment on the forum has already been done. We will also post regular news messages in the forum describing current projects and what's on the agenda.
